Aunque le resulte dif\u00edcil no hacer un informe completo en el momento en que acude a un hospital, dar a los sobrevivientes la opci\u00f3n de preservar las pruebas y tiempo adicional para buscar apoyo y orientaci\u00f3n puede ayudarle a largo plazo.<\/p>\n<p>Dar tiempo a los sobrevivientes para que se recuperen de su experiencia traum\u00e1tica puede aumentar la probabilidad de que se interesen m\u00e1s por la investigaci\u00f3n, si m\u00e1s adelante acuden a las fuerzas del orden. Un sobreviviente comprometido hace que la investigaci\u00f3n policial sea mucho m\u00e1s s\u00f3lida.
